Adding some herbs and spices is an easy and highly effective way of making chips a lot tastier. Good choices include oregano, rosemary, and paprika.
Instructions
Chop the potato into rough chip shapes.
Put the chips on a single layer on a backing tray, adding a generous amount of oil.
If using, add any herbs and spices now, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix all the ingredients well on the baking tray. (I recommend using your hands.)
Bake until the chips are your preferred level of crispy. (At least 20 mins.)
