Variations

This recipe is just for the base ramen, so you will need to add vegetables of your choice. (Mushrooms and carrots are good.)

Instructions

  1. Put the stock and miso paste in a pan and bring to the boil. Then simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Add the spring onions, along with any vegetables. Continue to simmer until the vegetables are boiled through.
  3. Meanwhile, cook the noodles (or add them straight to the sauce if you like).
  4. Mix the noodles and sauce together. Serve immediately.
